How to play

How to play

  1. Pick the winner of every game. Add a margin if you like: it breaks ties.
  2. Each pick saves when you tap it. You can change any pick, quick picks too, right up to that game's kickoff.
  3. 1 point for each right winner, 1/2 point for a tie. Most points wins: Saturday winner (college), NFL weekend winner (Sunday + Monday; Thursday night is a warm-up that doesn't count), Weekend champion (both).
  4. Every time slot has its own winner too, so you can join late and still win a slot.
  5. Two ways to win: most right winners, or Sharpshooter: closest margins. Sharpshooter ranks the lowest average margin miss on finals you picked with a margin (each game's miss capped at 21 points, right winner or not; at least 6 picks for the weekend, 4 for Saturday or Sunday, 20 for the season).
  6. On the pick page each day with open games has its own tab, and each game is one row: tap it to open it. Our call comes first, then the other models; "Use our call" or "Use this" picks that model's team and margin for you, and you can still change it. "Clear pick" removes a pick before kickoff.
  7. Our models play every game as well, shown in grey. Only people can win.

College: every game with a Top 25 team or a Texas team.

Quick pick fills every open game you haven't picked with a coin flip and a margin from 1 to 14. You can change or clear any quick pick until that game kicks off.

The margin is how many points you think the winner wins by. It only breaks ties: the lower your average miss, the higher you rank. A pick with no margin still counts for points.

FAQ

Why "Scott M."?
Boards show your first name and last initial. Your full name and email are only on your own dashboard.
Can I change a pick?
Yes, any pick, quick picks too, right up to that game's kickoff. Then it locks.
Is it free?
Yes. No money, no odds, nothing to buy.
How are models graded?
Exactly like players: 1 point for each right winner, 1/2 for a tie, the same tiebreak. They show in grey and never take a place or a title.
Who sees my picks?
Nobody, until that game kicks off. Then everyone's picks on it show on the game's card.
Can I play with friends?
Private groups are for friends and family, up to 10 players. Hosting at a bar or business? Contact us for a watch-party kit.
