I decided to post a few of my covers in the last year.
Just want to let everybody know that we have relocated to the Houston, TX area and trying to get settled in. Speedweeks was exciting and I’m 10286 shots deep in digital photo editing. If your needing a particular image, send me an email and I’ll do my best to quickly process the files you need, upload to a private gallery, and provide you a link to access them. Otherwise, I’ll be working images from Golden Isles through Volusia. Check back often. May God bless and have a great day.
Thanks,
Joey

Most of us in the southeast have seen some of the coldest temperatures for the longest periods of time. With that being said, harley owners have found it difficult to find time, with weather permitting to ride. So we decided to break out the leather and wear every stitch of clothes that we own . Pulling out at 8:30am knowing that the high’s were going to reach the lower 50’s sounded like a nice day, but the crazy part was when we pulled out it was 22 degrees. That sets my all time record of riding a motorcycle in the winter. If you don’t think that’s cold. Hang your hand out the window in the 20’s at 65mph. The windchill at 22 is ferocious. Believe me, before lunch we were turning heads and thumbs up. It was shortly after lunch before I saw another bike on the road and that was a motorcycle cop in downtown Knoxville, Tn. I’m thinking this guy is crazy as we are. Around 2pm it started to warm up and be very pleasant. We managed to do a 290 mile trip from Bristol, Tn. down 11W into Knoxville and Maryville, and back home on 11E. Normally we like to ride the mountain roads. Such as the Tail of the Dragon US129. But, with the warmer days melting snow and freezing night temps, if the road looked wet then it’s more than likely a thin sheet of ice. Not good on a bike. We had a good time. That’s the most important thing. :) Note: all these images were with a camera phone.
This was an unusual weekend. You can say this happened more than once. Thanks for looking and I’m getting geared up for Speedweeks and Dirt Late Model Racing.

I’m starting to take a liking again with my 60mm micro. With the carry-on being tight on how much you can take (equipment), the 60mm lens gets left behind. The thought has happened more than once to send this lens down the big road (eBay). Anyway, this shot is up close and tight in the center of a poinsettia. For the technical gurus including myself, it was shot at 1/30, f30, iso320, Nikkor 60mm micro with 12mm extension tube. Enjoy!
Softened in Photoshop. Used a 60mm Nikkor Micro lens.
Lights, Christmas, Camera, Fish-eye, and Photoshop. Some may like and some may not.
Ok, guys and gals, I’m the type that goes out does the last minute Christmas shopping. During my adventure of making my stops I happened to run into Santa Clause. I’m glad to see Santa has upgraded his way of delivering gifts to the children. This photo was taken with my camera phone and we know how the quality is. I’ll say no more about that.
I want everybody to have a special Merry Christmas, and best wishes from thesportswire.net.
